Avocado Coffee

Woke up with a wicked sore throat. Those allergies are kicking in. We were totally out of anything carbonated or caffeinated, so I decided it was experiment time.

Put the coffee on, threw an avocado in a blender, mixed the two together and TAH-DAH - Avocado Coffee. It did my diet and throat right.

Avocado Coffee
Serves 1

Net Carbs: 4g        Total Fat: 33g
Carbs: 16g             Protein: 4g

Ingredients

  • 1 medium, Avocado (mine was small)
  • 1/2 TBSP Chia Seeds
  • 2 TBSP Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 TBSP Sugar Free French Vanilla
  • A few drops of liquid Stevia (to your preferred sweetness)
  • 1 cup Coffee (warm) 

*You can add ice to make it a cool drink.

Directions

  1. Put the coffee on!
  2. In a blender cup or a cup you'll use a hand-mixer on... however you're going to blend your drink, put in the first 5 ingredients and blend them until you get a gorgeous green mixture!
  3. Once the coffee is finished brewing, add in 1 cup of coffee and blend again.
  4. Serve! Or add ice and blend again, then serve!
