June 9th's Daily Intention and Reflection

 Each day, I ask that my Guides be with me to help set an intention for the day. I then spend time reflecting on what it means for me (in the greater sense of my world) and what it means for me today. I use the Sweet-Ass Affirmations deck created by RageCreate.

Intention Request:

"I open myself to my guides and teachers. I ask them to help me set an intention for my day, coming through clearly and in a way I can understand using one of these cards. In light and love. In light and love only."

What does this mean for you?

Because my life had been focused on making my parents (mom) happy, I spent a great deal of time looking at what other people did that made my parents happy, so I could mimic that. I applied that strategy to other people as well, trying to change myself so they'd like me, which, in turn, would make them stop hating me. It's hard to untrain a lifetime of people-pleasing behavior, to instead focus on your own self and the light you need to shine. Not for protection, but for the security of your own self. But those comparisons are in the past. I can strive to remove them, but it will be a difficult journey - barebuns and all.

What does this mean for today?

I woke up with nasty dark thoughts from the past of people judging me and how it made me feel like an inferior person. That nasty person lives rent-free in my head with their decade of tearing me down and taking pot-shots and lying! So today's intention is continuing to manifest yesterday's ME-FEST, but also now leaving behind those other people. Because when I'm in that theater full of Lord of the Rings nerds, I shouldn't be comparing. I am as big a nerd as the rest of them and I have the right to sore! We're all in this together on this Earth. 


TODAY I am grateful for. . .

1. My daughter being willing to do a mega-long movie and then a second movie!

2. The excitement of having crepes! 

3. Sticking to my goals and not giving up yet! 


My Goal to LIVE FIT today is. . .

Today I will rest to allow my body to ease it's pain, as I also have personal activities that don't allow me to be as active as I want.


My Workout Goal is. . .

Rest! Morning Yoga and Bedtime Yoga.
